The original Thanksgiving feast consisted of venison, lobster, fish, wild fowl, clams, oysters, eel, corn, squash and maple syrup.

Perhaps that’s what we should serve this year (I need some reason to get rid of all the Morning Doves that crap over everything). Then next year nobody will come... Hallelujah. :)
Sounds fine to me!

Could be a member of the Mayflower Society but haven't ever bothered to do the paperwork. My grandmother was and at least one of my aunts and a cousin are members so would be easier to do than having to start from scratch. We're descendants of William Brewster, Stephen Hopkins and (I think) Thomas Rogers. Maybe we're related. :)
The Mayflower Society has a new name today; North Central Positronics

The folks at the GSMD tell me that we are all related it you research enough. My confirmed line is William White; but I think I have John Alden, John Howland, John Tilley and possibly John Cooke. John Howland was a child servant for William Brewster. Half of the Pilgrims died within 6 months of the landing. They didn't marry the French trappers or the Native Wampanoags. It's interesting research if you like history, as I do.
We could be cousins !

Absolutely. There's something like 10 million Americans who are descended from the Mayflower Pilgrims so bound to be some connections. :)

I can't wait for the pie. I love pie so much. And cocktails. It's my sister's job to find a new, interesting, not to sweet, goes with everything cocktail every year. We get a little tipsy, eat too much and play bananagrams for hours.
