Sorry I'm posting this so late, I was traveling the past 3 days but I did get my final film in on October 31st, just haven't had a chance to write up a review until now...

31. Cub (a.k.a Welp) (FTV)
Belgian with subtitles. Cub is a great little homage to camping slasher films, but the difference here is that the cast uses real children, not twenty-somethings portraying teenagers. Local legends of a feral child roaming the woods don't deter these young scouts, but the outsider of their group finds that the stories may be true, and the feral child may have no problems with killing other children who invade his realm. Takes a little while to get rolling, but it goes where no American horror film would dare go in its depictions of violence against children. A decent finale for the month!

3.5 out of 5 stars.

Now that I've had a few days to digest the month's viewing, here are the awards for the films I watched in the 2015 October Movie Marathon!

Best overall: Crimson Peak
Scariest: We Are Still Here
Most unnerving: Creep and Sheitan(tie)
Most fun: Goosebumps
Best unexpected discovery (older film): Girly
Best unexpected discovery (newer film): Housebound and Rammbock: Berlin Undead (tie)
Biggest letdown: Poltergeist 3D
Worst: From a Whisper to a Scream

It's always interesting to see which films are more memorable a year later, too. Sometimes I look at the title and can't even recall watching it!

Can everyone post what their final total was for the month? I watched 31, no more, no less!

Hi everyone, thanks for participating in the annual SKMB October Horror Movie Marathon! Now it's time to tally up the movies watched!

This list is based on the information I could get from the forum, it may not be correct so please feel free to correct me! Some of you didn't list how many movies you watched so I couldn't get a total number. This was a huge forum so it's possible I didn't get everything right. If I forgot anyone or got a number wrong, please forgive me and let us know here!
