It's that time of year again to watch the Oscar's and see who wins!! We'll get to see the fashions- the hits and misses of stylings, the tears of joy and the sneers of loss. I will be once again hosting my annual Oscar Party and watching along with my friends. I have new decorations this year (I even have a RED CARPET tis time!!). I haven't seen one, that right not one, of the nominated films this year but it's more about getting together with my good friends and sharing laughs and food. Who else is watching this year?

Cool. I haven't watched it since The King's Speech, LOL. I used to enjoy it before identity politics became the focus. I'm all for equal rights but, as King Tweeted recently, I think the art should be paramount and should speak for itself.

Anyway, who are you rooting for this year?

I know!! I always wanted to join in with you guys but couldn't as I had a room full of people to host.
You should've left your laptop open and popped us a message inbetween appetizers. Your guests could've thrown out some commentary to us. "Interviewed" each other. I would've loved to hear their thoughts.

You should do that now that you have a red carpet. As your guests arrive, you should shove a microphone in their face and ask them who they are wearing before they can come into the party.

Well, I don't have a lap top, just a regular pc. I actually have a brand new one (pc) from Costco still in the box waiting for me to get it up and running. I transferred all of my photos and music over to a 32 gb thumb drive so just have to make the time to play around with the new one.

Just a tip about lights:

If you are on a lonely stretch of road at night and headlights are coming from the opposite direction and seem to be coming right at you to the point of alarming, I mean in your lane focused on you, it is probably a drunk driver. You say, "No duh." Well, you can't dodge them. They are honing in on you. Pull off the road and turn off your lights.

I had a cop friend tell me that a lot of wrecks with drunks are from them thinking they are heading into town. They are purposely aiming for the lights.

I’ll watch some of it, but I’m still miffed Godzilla isn’t up for best actor.

Omg, don`t tell him, he has already prepared an acceptance speach, including a happy dance.
