....life is a crap shoot, sometimes the bones roll for the good-but often it's snake eyes......love is even "dicier" if you will....the physical, mental and emotional bonding for many of us, doesn't gel for very long in our first attempts at matrimony.....second marriages give us a chance to right the wrongs made and stumble along and over new ones-but with a bit of wisdom....however, the rarest form of second chances, is getting to fall deeply and completely in love with your forever soulmate, and this is where I see Shannon and Tamara.....for all of the jokes and BS, I admire my buddy and treasure his friendship...I couldn't possibly be happier for him and his beloved....the bond is almost palpable......I shall lift a toast to you two and the kids, and I say thank you old friend for making a codger like myself believe in true love again.....

For my dear friend and his good lady, on a more personal level, I would make a quilt, and I would have The Green Fairy quilt lady quilt it. For those interested, check out her site. She quilts the most amazing, intricate designs I have ever seen. Just craftsmanship and artistry on a whole other level.

I did not take it well, not well at all. When Joel Berry tied it up with 4 seconds to go, I yelled we've got this, we're going to overtime......then that guy with Miami hit a dagger.....Went to bed cussing and woke up doing the same.
