They haven't announced what they're doing next yet. Persistent alien rumors exist but still, only rumors. Lange said she was done after this season but has recently stated that if the story is right she just might return. I hope so!

This was definitely my least fave season. I would rank them as such 3,2,1,4. However, I liked the last few eps and the sprinkle of Pepper ep(see what I did there? 
). I loved the finale.
Some of the "freaks" are going to be at an upcoming horror con that I'm going too, looking forward to meeting them!

I thought for awhile there that Elsa might go to hell but since she essentially committed suicide to repent I thought she had a fitting end. The writers must have known that every fan on the planet wanted Dandy dead because they did it in such a great way! The popcorn was a great touch

I'll let you know! They're having Pepper, Legless Suzi, Meep, and Twisty. A diverse mix to say the least. I bought a promo crystal ball that has AHS Freakshow on it along with Twisty's smile. I'm going to have them sign that.
I hope so! I'd love to see a Twilight Zone type season. Maybe a different theme every week, like they used to do on TZ. Then they wouldn't be stuck with one story arc that could get boring, like parts of this season did.

I've only just started watching season 1, 3 episodes in. I very rarely watch a show when it's on, I only watched heroes after season 1 had finished. So far I like it. A freak show does seem to be an ideal setting, I really liked the carnival setting in heroes season 4.
I didn't expect that ending either. I actually didn't know what to expect lol. I liked it too. It seemed right y'know? I can't wait to see what theme they go with next season. Maybe it could have something to do with a school for children who are learning to make their dream creatures enter the real world or drag others into their dreamworld... that's the best I can come up with lol.

So now, I am ready to go back and watch other seasons. What order would you veteran viewers recommend? Should I go back to Season 1 and give it another try? Start with Asylum since I am familiar with Pepper? Or is Coven my best option?
I loved Coven. It was the first season I watched and I kinda wish it hadn't been... It's a hard act to follow lol. I havn't seen Asylum yet but I liked Murder House a lot

do1you9love? I would start from the beginning! Season 1 is my favorite, personally. I thought season 2 and 3 were great, also. Season 2 is definitely the darkest season with season 3 being the most "fun" and entertaining.
I don't know what to call season 4. As Bev Vincent said, it was a trainwreck. As it went on, I lost interest and got bored. It was such a mess. I think what turned me off was the character of Dandy. Nothing to do with the actor, the character just annoyed the heck out of me. Definitely not my favorite season.
I just hope next season returns to the present time.

I think I would have liked Freakshow more if there had been more Jimmy and less Elsa and Dandy. It was a bit like watching The Walking Dead episodes without Daryl lol
Well, and less Jimmy feeling sorry for himself. That got pretty old pretty quick.
Just read this is coming to Netflix on Oct. 6 - WOOT!! Don't know if I can watch without getting too sad, but I'm going to try.
I found this set at a thrift store and am currently on disc three of the four disc set. It's crazy!!
