Jeez, where do I start lol. Back in my ghost hunting days...We arrived and took shuttle from airport to hotel, by a almost blind older gentleman who liked to drive like Mario Andretti with a cracked windshield around a two lane winding mountain road (That was the very first scare of our trip!). Very strange things happen there to say the least. Beautiful scenery, gorgeous old hotel, elk everywhere. They had a prop from "The Shining"...Jack Nicholson one...here's Johnny..lol. A guide told us the history of the place, history of when Stephen King stayed there, and came up with his story. Got a lot of unexplained EVP's, photos, orbs, shadows and such. Piano playing in the distance at times, even though it wasn't. Voices. You name it, that place had it all. Didn't care much for meeting a Demonologist like John Zaffis, I mean he was nice enough, but didn't really like being near him, for all the tings he has seen. Grant was so funny. Hearing his stories of his like for "The muppets". He gave me tips on EVP's which was very cool. They were down to earth guys, normal like you and me. My son can't wait to go there someday. I guess in 2007 you had to be 13 to spend the night at that hotel. One major thing did stick out to me from memory, is the cold fingertips I felt on my lower leg while asleep with my hubby, and it wasn't him. It was really cool to see where Stephen King stayed in the room. Lots and lots of strange voices in the distance, weird lights unexplained, cold areas that chilled you to the bone.
