I've always felt that Mr. Rogers never cared.
Just a gut feeling. Maybe it was the way he wore his cardigan. Maybe I thought he was talking about my neighbourhood and on that day it wasn't beautiful. I guess only Freud or Jung would know for sure...and they'd argue about it.
Tainted Love by Soft Cell is overrated and the original version is much better, it’s a song most people don’t even realize is a cover. The Gloria Taylor original is better.

Jake is a stupid nickname for Jacob. I hate nothing more than being referred to as a “Jake”. This isn’t an attack on fellow Jacobs who prefer the name “Jake”, just slandering the idea.

Structured sport (i.e. team sports with rules at any level) is on the way out. Generation Millennial don't like rules and don't like competitive sport. I know many people between the age of 15 and 30 and they tell me they couldn't care less about baseball, football etc.
Couldn't care less about baseball and football? Maybe I should become a testosterone donor. Back in my hippie days we said 'Don't trust anyone over 30' today ''Don't trust anyone under 30' seems like sounder advice.
Or we could celebrate our differences and recognize that sports aren't for everyone. It doesn't mean the world is coming to an end or that people who aren't interested in sports have something wrong with them. *sigh*

I don’t know anything about Sports but Western culture wouldn’t be the same without them, I guess.
You should go to a live upper-tier sporting event. There is just something about the experience that grabs you. I once took our German exchange student to a AAA baseball game. She new almost nothing about baseball and from the little she did know considered it boring. By the end of the game she was rockin’ in the seats, eating terribly unhealthy foods, and buying souvenirs. But if you still have no interest... nothing gained, nothing lost.
I’ve been to an Astros game, because my dad got free tickets or something. My parents aren’t sports fans either, but my grandparents (father’s side) are baseball fans, they always have a game on their radio.
What did you think of the experience? Did you get to see Jose Altuve play? My uncle played in the MLB for over 20 years. Baseball is kinda in my blood.

All arguments that have nothing to do with my original point that it's okay to like sports and it's equally okay not to.
