Coming out head-first and having to wait until the rest of you comes must be scary. I could picture a thought-bubble above baby's head: "I have to drop all the way down there?!"

The other one has been pacing throughout the labour.It almost looks like the other giraffe is guarding April and the baby. I wonder if the herd does that in the wild?
Apparently the males only like to do two things, fight and... procreate. They aren't allowed to be near the momma's and the calves because they are dangerous.I did too, like expectant father.
