I made my mum rent Cujo for the family (back when VHS and video players were all the rage), this is years ago, when I was thirteen, I had just read the book. I had to beg to get her to rent it, but she did cave in. We all watched it and I could tell my parents enjoyed it, even though I got told it was a horrible movie, cause of the young boy in it, being terrorised. Watched it again the other night, and I still think it is one of the better early adaptations!! Go to the cinema today, you won't find such a quality, well made film. These days its buckets of blood and no build up, can't stand em.
I go in for art house films nowadays, Hollywood turns out such garbage, so tired of endless boring super heroes and lame retreads of the great classics.
Youtube is great as well, enabling one to watch tons of old movies never available to me before!
