Really? Is this a joke? - I will have to check that one out. I am an old school Trekkie myself but that one sounds like it is worth looking into!May I also mention one of the classic (for me) Star Trek: The Next Generation episodes, "A Fistful of Datas"?

Little Big Man
True Grit (with John Wayne)
Westworld (yeah blunty!)
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
The Outlaw Josie Wales
High Plains Drifter
Against a Crooked Sky (loved it as a kid so sentimental favorite)
Paint Your Wagon
HAHA! I struggled with adding Star Wars and Firefly. Both are outer space Westerns, and I love both.Mad Max (1979), whilst not in the Old West setting, has many of the same archetypes and typical plot elements of westerns, so I had to give it a mention here. Classic movie.
My mom loves that movie!I don't care for westerns as a norm but do love Quigley Down Under am will watch again and again.
