Yeah, right... she'll miss me like she'd miss a prolonged case of poison ivy, perhaps. :)
My grandmother once asked her doctor,
"......Now why would I miss someone like that???"
He responded,
"Think of it this way, imagine there were a dog you didn't like and you enjoyed kicking it everyday.
Then suddenly the dog wasn't there anymore....now wouldn't you miss kicking that dog every day?"
She laughed, and smiling widely replied,
"You've got a good point!"

lol, you're post just reminded me of that Dio!
I don't think you're a dog, MissM enjoys kicking around everyday. ;)
Y'all ain't like that. :)

And just for the record, I would never enjoy kicking a dog. :)

Maybe.....maybe not.... There have been a LOT of times over the years when I've refrained from saying what I was thinking. ;)
Don't blame me for your repressed feelings... let it out! Primal scream if you must! You'll feel so much better. :)

And...

Have a great vacation, Marsha! Let me know if you're anywhere near Pittsburgh...this swimming pool of mine isn't going anywhere and the water's fine.
That sounds terrific! I'll be taking care of my granddaughter that week as her daycare is closed so I have a feeling I'll be needing a vacation from my vacation. I love her to death but taking care of a 2 year-old at 67 is a whole lot different than when I was doing it for my own kids when I was in my 30s. Stamina just isn't what it used to be and it will probably be me needing the nap rather than the other way around.

There was a little girl about 4 years old that came in with her parents to the home improvement center over the weekend. The mother was astounded how much of a chatterbox the little girl was with me. The little girl told me her mom said she might be able to toast marshmallows that evening. I told her of a real fun game to play… after toasting her marshmallows throw them real high into the air and try to catch them in your mouth. If they land in your mouth you get 10 points and if they get stuck in your hair you get 5 points. And with all her hair she should make lots and lots of points. And not to worry about sticky hair… that’s what moms are for. Later in the day the parents came back with the little girl… they had to pick up some firewood and marshmallow sticks… and ‘thanked’ me for all my wonderful suggestions. Little kids love me… parents hate me. :)
