Yes ma'am!Might be I need a vacation.
They are! At least now, though, I'm mostly doing things I want to be doing (although I still get called on to do work-related things on occasion) but the down side is I'm not getting paid for it unlike vacation time when I do.Perhaps... Those Fridays through Mondays must be such a grind.

First time meeting was 33 years ago when I was working for a temp employee agency. Steve needed to have The Eyes of the Dragon typed for the Viking/Penguin edition and that was my assignment. In 1988 I got a call-back from his personal assistant at the time to ask if I'd like to work for him and the rest is history. How did you get to know The Man?

Hadn't read a single book of his and horror wasn't/isn't a genre I gravitate toward. Fortunately, it wasn't a job requirement. You climbed on board right before I read my first SK book.
Had you read much of his works before actually working for him?
(if you don't mind me asking. )
