On a scale of babbling idiot to skilled artisté, where would this afghan fall?
If I did it, I'd consider it to be my magnum opus (but I'm at a pretty basic level of crochet currently)
I'd say intermediate level. If you've done single, double and triple crochet, you should be able to do this with the help of the video.

Um - ayuh - what she said! :a11::dizzy:

A small finish. This is a scarf I made for my son.

Very nice! I'd love to see that toddler sweater and tooth fairy pillow!

My family wishes they got homemade gifts from Ms Mod and AnnaMarie. They get simple potholders and dishcloths from me lol.

This is a smaller version of the dishcloths I crochet - I use it under a small lamp.

Don't sell yourself short. Your handmade gifts for your family come with the extra ingredient of love. :smile2:

I like the spiral design--nice job!

Pretty potholder. My mother used to crochet, using cotton crochet thread, that style of potholder. Dozens of arm chair covers, table runners, under lamp matts. The house was filled with them.

That’s beautiful. I miss my mom’s homemade dishcloths.

Antimacassars. My house was full of them and runners, and doilies.

Mom used to make them for neighbours too. And at Christmas they would all pay her to starch and set them. Many were wavy like this.

And in December, all the floor space was taken up with them drying...spice bottles holding up the waves, and cutlery holding down the waves. Eating meant hunting for what you needed, lol.
