Christmas is Coming!! Christmas is Coming!!

Instead of another baked ham, I'm making cocktail sausages in Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce (adding grape jelly and diced onion) with Pilsbury croissants and deviled eggs. I may fry some homemade chicken fingers, too. Snack stuff. I'm also making from scratch a pumpkin spice sheet cake with cream cheese icing and almond cookies. My sister might bring spinach dip with Ritz crackers. We will get Chinese food the following day.

What is everyone else cooking/eating for Christmas holiday?

I will be eating dinner at SwiftMom's on Christmas day.

We will be having a standing rib roast with roasted potatoes, green beans, rolls, and a bunch of other stuff. And a Black Forest Cake for dessert (provided the bakery doesn't lose it, again....). SwiftMom also usually bakes a bunch of cookies, breads, and other assorted goodies. It will be very hard not to find the SwiftPounds I've lost over the last few months!

I'm halfway down to Palm desert - stopped in Bakersfield for the night. Hoping the furry one goes to bed soon, but she gets nervous and wanders around when we're in a new environment.

I'm looking forward to making this an awesome Christmas, even if it's just my mom and I. I put together a cute Christmas stocking filled with goodies - she probably doesn't expect a visit from Santa, so she should be pleasantly surprised.
