This message board permanently closed on June 30th, 2020 at 4PM EDT and is no longer accepting new members.
Now that the salon has re opened, I'm worried that I might not get to be here as much as I'd like before the board shutters its doors and windows.
Please don't take my lack of posting to be indifference or anger of any kind. I've been working 11 hours most days, and don't see that changing very soon.
I'm SO thankful to be back at work, but I miss being here to visit with my friends.
In the 12 years that I've been here, I've met and made friends with so many people. People that I would never have gotten to know had it not been for the SKMB.
Thank you for the laughs, the fun, the sharing bits of your lives.......but most of all, thank you for the friendship.
I would love to keep in touch. If anyone else feels so inclined, please PM me, and let's share contact info. ♥

Soon, the lives of total strangers, some I've come to love,
Will go on their separate ways that I won't be part of.
It's been over twelve years now (I think... I'd have to check)
Since I tried to see what new book Stephen had "on deck."
Tech is not my strong suit so I stumbled on this place
And into this fellowship I've lived in cyberspace.
Names have changed and folks have come and gone throughout the years.
Some have reached the clearing at the end. There have been tears
Shed for friends I never met but, there's been even more
Joy and laughter, caring, kindness... People I adore.
