After years of only reading a book or two occasionally, I'm finally digging into my Koontz collection. I'm starting with the ever-popular Watchers.

...then you are depriving yourself of some fine writing...I have NEVER cracked one of his books. Better things beginning with a 'K' in the library.

Thank you for the recommendation. I don't harbor any negative sentiments toward him; just haven't been 'drawn'. So many authors I do like and so many books still to read plus the classics....try the Odd Thomas series AB, that's my favorite thus far-that and the unfinished Christopher Snow novels...

V, he's fantastic. Plus, he is largely the genesis of my interest in sK, since Koontz was the first horror (though he himself generally describes his stuff otherwise) author I'd discovered. I started with Lightning (really good), then read The Bad Place (amazing). My faves include The Taking, False Memory, Midnight, and the first Odd Thomas (I haven't read subsequent ones in that series, yet).Thank you for the recommendation. Been wanting to ask since I first saw your avatar...since he looks like an Octave I know. Who is he? Would be a riot if it is Octave.
Sam...?Sam's Letters To Jennifer has been the on ly book that made me cry. Great story, but more for the ladies.
