I never knew that about you!!
Yes!!! We had a fantastic thunderstorm Tuesday - I'd gone to Costco at lunch and got caught it in - so I just sat in my car at work and watched and it listened to it -
little bit of the window down - but I didn't have an umbrella so I had to stay put. I just don't even know how to tell you how marvelous that was.
Great booming thunderstorms with crashes of thunder and lightning are the best. I haven't seen one of those in years.

Oh man - that would be awful. My friend moved to Alaska and said they don't have thunderstorms either. Do you miss them? At least there's youtube. You can put one up on the big screen, turn out the lights and make believe.

Love a good storm!! No damage, tornadoes or anything severe for sure. Haven’t had any at all so far, but I remember your posts about them and being jealous.. :biggrin-new:

Having the MB open 24/7 reminded me of our NO POST DAYS. There were times when MsMod was extremely busy with SK personal assistant things and we'd get together and not post- thus giving her some freedom from moderation.

Does anyone remember when we had customized profile pages? That lead to little gremlins, and Jordan eliminated it after the next big update.

Speaking of updates.... all the confusion as we'd log on and go what happened! Everyone learning all the new perks.

 And every single board update, all the complaints! whining! gnashing of teeth and rending of flesh!

And that was just me....
 Ahhhh, yes, those dreaded updates. I know that I complained a time or two about some of them. I'm a technophobe so it's even worse for me.
Oh me too. I was bumbling around this friggin' place like a Stooge.
Ahh yes, but the bumbling and stumbling was so much fun! We learned so much... and laughed at our mistakes until we could barely breathe.

Which also brings to mind our wonderful years with our fellow Beta's, Dana Jean, some are no longer here and that breaks my heart afresh from time to time.
Oh man, we were complete and utter doofuses during testing, Jordan and Marsha probably wondered what gates of hell they had opened at times.

Ahhh... memories. :biggrin2:

It's so good to see you here before we close! I'm really sorry to hear that your husband's surgery has been pushed back, I hope he can get some relief soon. And thank goodness for leave with pay! Times are so uncertain right now.
My best wishes are with (((you and Mr. Doowop))) it has been so lovely getting to know you on the board and I hope you will migrate to one of the other MB's once we close and when you have some free time. (there are lots of links to them spread throughout this thread)
Mr. Doowop send his regards. I'm on facebook SK Central. Skimom2 is there. SRBO is doing it. Come along it's fun.
