What did BF ultimately think about this?BF is watching it, and he likes it. He does say it's kind of disturbing. He hasn't made it to the end yet, so I don't know.
He thought it was pretty good, although he found it a little bizarre. He said there wasn't any real gore, and thought I'd be okay to watch it.What did BF ultimately think about this?
If you watch it, I would be interested in your thoughts too.He thought it was pretty good, although he found it a little bizarre. He said there wasn't any real gore, and thought I'd be okay to watch it.
We'll see about that. If the world shuts down, I'll need something to keep me amused until I run out of food and TP.
I'll probably get around to watching it. I'll be sure to give you my two cents on itIf you watch it, I would be interested in your thoughts too.
I'd never heard of it D.J. but my daughter started watching it the other day so I sat and watched with her. It started out as a whodunnit, a multi millionaire disappears and his wife is suspected by many to have had him murdered. Then the program focuses on this guy who calls himself the tiger king, he runs a rival big cat park and he's a certifiable lunatic, a gay drug addict who supplies his two husbands with drugs, cars and guns, personally I found it disgusting, basically pointing cameras at drug addicts and filming their interactions with each other and their rants and double dealings while in the middle are the big cats and other animals being exploited and peddled as playthings and collateral. Why anyone gives screen time to these lunatics is beyond me.Is anyone watching this Tiger King thing? Thoughts?
I've had some people tell me to watch it, but worried about seeing animal abuse.
THanks for the info. And that's why I haven't given my time to it. I don't want to see it when animals are the ones suffering for all the craziness with the people involved.I'd never heard of it D.J. but my daughter started watching it the other day so I sat and watched with her. I watched it. There is some animal abuse shown, but nothing I'd call gory. Just the way the animals are kept in cages, fed, etc. the everyday life at a so called privately owned zoo. It's mostly about two battling owners of big cats, and people involved in the business of breeding and selling them.Is anyone watching this Tiger King thing? Thoughts?

....Often, I'm glad I don't have Netflix.I'd never heard of it D.J. but my daughter started watching it the other day so I sat and watched with her. I like my Netflix. It has some really thought provoking documentaries. Sure, there is also a few really twisted up junk. You just have to watch and weed, as I call it.....Often, I'm glad I don't have Netflix.
"Good Idea"I like my Netflix. It has some really thought provoking documentaries. Sure, there is also a few really twisted up junk. You just have to watch and weed, as I call it.
I like YouTube, too! I'm doing a lot of word puzzles, trying to keep my mind sharp."Good Idea"
I find I'm watching less and less TV these days. Checking out more things on YouTube lately.

They're both crazy, btw and I believe both are guilty as sh*t. They also talk to a zoo/preserve owner in South Carolina. He's batsh*t crazy, too. I remember seeing his place at Myrtle beach many years ago. He has also been in some trouble in recent years over his business.
It was a lot like watching a train wreck......made no sense to watch, but just had to. I found it to be a very sobering account of how wild animals are kept and treated. I can't go into more detail, because if you decide to watch it.....and I think you can handle it.....I don't want to spoil the crazy of it for you. I want you to experience that all for yourself. It's got it all......murder, mystery, scandal, crazy as hell people, gay hillbillies, cult leaders......oh yeah, and Tigers!
I'll give a go.
I may end up in the fetal position. I'll at least watch the first episode.Do you need my cell # so that you can share your thoughts?
The BF told me to watch it. When I was finished with it, the only descriptive I could come up with was 'effin bizarre'.I may end up in the fetal position. I'll at least watch the first episode.
