Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I'll be posting the update with the names of the book stores at 2 PM, so in just a few minutes you'll know for sure. Check on the Home page, though, as it takes about 10-15 minutes to sync with the SKMB News.

I'll wave my book at him when he flies over my house and yell... 'Where's my autograph!' Hope he doesn't have to drive in Pittsburgh as it has the worst road signage on how to get to highways in the entire country.Jersey City is within driving distance of NYC so he'll be able to do the network morning show and the NJ event on the same day. From there he'll be traveling by plane. Pittsburgh is the largest city close to Sewickley.
Not yet. We'll be speaking to all of the bookstores next week but many of them have not yet found their off-site location for the events.Any idea on when Venues and ticket info will be announced? From past experiences you have to be on top of it or they will be gone before you know it. Forget to check for Half a day, and the place might of been announced and already sold out.
Would love to meet you, too, but unfortunately it won't be on this book tour. Scribner sends a rep to those. The event won't be at the bookstore itself. They'll have an off-site location for the event so might not end up being within walking distance..So it is the bookstore I can walk to!!! Marsha, will you be along for this tour? No worry about that--there will be a local car service to take him to/from the airport, hotel, and the event location.I'll wave my book at him when he flies over my house and yell... Aw, too bad.Not yet. We'll be speaking to all of the bookstores next week but many of them have not yet found their off-site location for the events.

That's good. And thankfully he doesn't drink anymore as the Iron City Beer could kill ya. I remember a time where that brand was all they were allowed to serve in the Pittsburgh airport. One of the reasons I hated flying there. No worry about that--there will be a local car service to take him to/from the airport, hotel, and the event location.
Perhaps he feels he cant top a pig riding in the back of a truck. No New England event?
Or the thought of a pig, especially if it's named Misery, connected with a fan event might have put him off.Perhaps he feels he cant top a pig riding in the back of a truck.
Not this time although I can't guarantee that he won't do something for Bridgton Books. That's not meant to be a wink, wink, nudge, nudge. It's that it wouldn't be the first time that he's decided on his own to schedule a book signing with them and let us know after he's done it.No New England event?

And Bridgton Books would have been wondering why they're getting phone calls for information about a signing with Steve. Thanks for that, otherwise there may have been New Englanders everywhere hyperventilating.
Do you know if he's ever come here, or if he ever would? I only remember him having visited a school in New Brunswick, which is practically Maine. We have lovely mountains out west....Sorry, not this time.
As Stephen's career winds down we've been trying to mix up the locations for book tours to give areas that have either never had an appearance or it's been a long time in between to give fans in those areas the opportunity. He gave us some general parameters of where he wanted to go this time and his publicist at Scribner came back with suggestions. He tweaked a couple but for the most part where she suggested got the thumbs up.
