We'll cross that bridge if we come to it but for now, back to our regular programming. Anything weird happen to anyone?
I was once attacked by a buffalo. It charged me and sent me flying. Happened the same day I was bit by an ostrich. Been charged by a black bear while fishing... I jumped into the lake and swam off to get away from it. Also been bitten by a large water snake and a wild turtle. The animal kingdom doesn’t seem to like me.

Setting: rural, dirt road, wooded area 1970's early morning walking my kids to the bus stop about half a mile to the cross street. Son's best buddy ,Dave-- this was grade school age, comes running toward us. "Wanna see the scarecrow your neighbor has hung in his backyard?" We are just about to the neighbor's 5a track. Everyone stops and takes a good, long look. Stare------- Gathering the children, at a much faster pace, walking to bus stop. Rush into Dave's mom and suggest we call the sheriff. Seems the neighbors son hung himself over the weekend and that was the "scarecrow" the children found. No school that day, just lots of questions from the sheriff. Kids thought it was the neatest thing ever! Can not say that Dave's mom nor I felt the same.

I was attacked by a Canadian beaver and no I am not making this up. My Dad said it was quite possibly rabid, as it was walking along the side of the road out in the country and did not seem to be afraid of people.

I feel like I've told this story before so I will not go into any further details. (But it was the 70s and I was wearing platform shoes and a long denim skirt) - No I had not smoked any "whacky tabacky" either).

What makes a Canadian beaver different than an American beaver? Are they more polite? :)
