On the bright side, I didn't cuss at all until the 3rd quarter......:D
It was a wild game, for sure.....I wonder how Marsha's heart is doing this morning?
I loved Gaga's halftime show. It was the best in a while.....Prince still holds the #1 spot in my heart, but Gaga didn't lipsync and gave one helluva performance.

We didn't watch it but if we had, we'd have turned it off after the halftime show. I made the mistake of checking the score not long before I went to bed and it was 28-3 so figured I'd be making a congrats on winning to the Falcons post this morning. My SO left me a note by the coffeemaker that the Pats had won in OT. Couldn't believe it! Have been watching highlights and high on the list was the presentation of the Lombardi trophy as I figured there'd be the F.U.R.G. reception from the Pats fans and Robert Kraft.

I knew the Pats would come back and win when one of the announcers made the comment that no one has ever come back from more than a 10 point deficit to win the Superbowl.....I sent a text to my BF telling him that the game had just been jinxed, and his reply was that he caught that, too.
It really was an amazing comeback and win.

Had to laugh at Evan. (And seriously wonder how much attention he has ever really paid to me cussing Tom Brady over the years) because he was absolutely crushed at the turn of events in the 2nd half. I knew it, I could see that look in Brady's eyes, but Evan kept saying No, no way...right up to the end. It was pretty hilarious for me.

I do feel bad for Atlanta though. Would have been nice for them to bring home their first trophy.

That crazy catch by Edelman and the trophy hand over were my favorite parts. I thought Goodell was gracious while he ate crow but laughed when Robert Kraft got up there and made his speech! :applause:

I have to disagree about Gaga though. Not about her show, overall I thought she was great, best halftime show in many years. But I did think she was lip syncing, until she sat down at the piano, then she was live the rest of the way.

It's amazing how close all of the Brady-era Patriots Super Bowls have been.
(4) 3 point games
(2) 4 point games
(1) 6 point OT game

The only one that wasn't in doubt at the end was the Philadelphia one. Philly scored a late TD to pull within 3 but they didn't have much of a shot. Brady had game winning late drives in 4 of them and had an almost game winning drive against the Giants but the Giants matched that drive with one of their own. Amazing.

Uh-oh.....I just realized how often I've cussed Brady, and may or may not have commented out loud that a snapped ankle might not be the worst thing......my daughter must think I'm insane......
