They played as best they could with what they had. They did some good things like run the ball quite a bit and stop the run on defense. But they have no deep threat downfield on offense other than Decker, and the opposing teams concentrate on him. And the Jets defensive backfield is probably one of the worse, if not the worse, in the NFL. The results of field goal attempt to win the game in the final seconds didn’t even faze me. I just said “figures!” and turned the channel to F-Troop... Seemed only fitting. :(
Can I pour you a glass of Clan MacGregor? ;;D

FTroop!!!! What channel?
Don’t recall, it might have been MeTV. Love MeTV! Current favorites of mine they’re playing now are Welcome Back Kotter, Night Gallery, Rockford Files, Daniel Boone, Hogan’s Heroes, The Odd Couple, Rawhide, Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea, and Lost In Space. Hopefully they’ll add The Time Tunnel to the lineup soon.

And of course, since I did not pick the stoopid Jets to cover the spread, they did! :sigh:

Patriots are 5 and 2. Last night we beat the Jets
And I can be happy 'cause I'm not someone who bets.
For, although New England won, we didn't win by much.
Luckily the Defense, finally, came through in the clutch.

Didn't cover point spreads, though. We gave up lots of yards.
New York had no trouble getting players past our guards.
Any time they got the ball they marched it up the field...
But they, mostly, settled for the 3 points field goals yield.

Only one thing pains me now; I have to eat my words
Since I've said that Danny Amendola's for the birds.
Last night he did everything and did it very well.
Still, at least I'm not the Jets - whose season's shot to hell.

Alabama is on fire today. 38-0 and it isn't even halftime yet. They aren't playing no small time college team like South Carolina did earlier in the day. The past two weeks haven't been the prettiest for the Tide, but this game against Texas A&M is an excellent return to form.

With Baylor losing today, they are creeping back into the playoff picture.

So little Colorado State University is not exactly your football powerhouse and, frankly, the engineers and the veterinarians that the school produces are more interested in the school producing more engineers and veterinarians than powerhouse football, and good for them for that attitude.

But CSU is having a good year. The 5-1 Rams went against the 4-2 Utah State for CSU's homecoming game and won 16-13 on a 46-yard field goal as time expired. How exciting it must've been in the stadium.

Go Rams. Yay, and all.

Oh, and go Broncos tomorrow for the start of a pretty tough few weeks of games.

Are you implying that you don't think the University of Miami football players are med students? ;-D

Will someone....ANYONE, please knock off Florida State...PLEASE!!!!!! This team can't seem to lose if they try.....great game with Notre Dame last night. DVR'd Big Driver to watch the game so going to watch Big Driver tonight.

I'm not sure Winston is going to make it to the end. If Winston did the same thing as Gurley , he will have to be suspended since they suspended Gurley. If Winston is gone, FSU will lose.

If if that doesn't happen, I'm planning on the Hurricanes knocking them off on Nov 15. There's going to be a 90s flashback. Wide right baby!!! ;-D (or was it wide left?)

Go 'Canes!!!! I have to have a surrogate football team this year since the Razorbacks seem to enjoy the cellar in the SEC West.....we've dropped sixteen games straight in the SEC.....ugly...
