im gonna be freakin famous. well, that's what my psychic says anyway. she has only ever been wrong 14 times, at least if you overlook minor mistakes like gender, and dates and times, and names...
more seriously though, i have read a couple dozen stephen king books and i credit him with imparting some of his perspective and his honesty to me in my writing. there are few in literature who do more than a passable job, but king is a neck above most other living authors (at least any who have achieved his status and recognition, as little as those things actually matter to writing...). i should just amend that and say 'most other living authors i have read or heard of'.
i have a request for mr. king, if he has the time. i don't know if he reads this, but if so, here goes:
i know you to be an avid reader, and an at least sometime reader of poetry. i have some things i thought you might enjoy. please follow this link . i have 15 poems you can click to read on the right side of the page. feel free to comment here or there (though you'd have to make a free account to comment there i think), or just let me know if you read them.
