That's how I feel about Audience network. I never even heard of it, but because I don't have it, I can't see Mr. MercedesAnd me, without Netflix **sigh**

I don't either. Just the first two episodes. They're like a crack dealer... "First couple are free..."

I don't have cable, so I can't even see the free ones. I figure everything is online eventually. Just gotta wait it out.
I watched online. Pretty sure you can, too. Follow that link down there...
It has a 9,0 on IMDb, from 25 voters. But no one can really have seen it, so I guess that's just people hoping it will be that good...

I watched this morning and I liked what they did with the story but it came too close to a Lifetime movie, especially the denouement and voice over. Things that I liked: the projection of her thought process as Gerald and herself (explaining the different voices in the book would have taken too much time and possibly only added confusion ), the very realistic escape scene , the perfect casting of the Space Cowboy character, and the flashbacks. I was hoping for something scarier (at the right moments) and exciting. It just didn't gather momentum and could have used some better music.Just saw it on Netflix. Mike Flanagan did a superb job folks. We have another winner here.
I know the feeling. We got lucky that Mr. Mercedes is showing on Irish TV. We won't always get that lucky. A lot times these things turn up on DVD, so fingers crossed. That's how I feel about Audience network. I never even heard of it, but because I don't have it, I can't see Mr. Mercedes
Oh yeah. I've seen Misery done on the stage and it totally works as I'm sure Geralds Game would work the same. Some good points you make there Doc. I'll write a little more about it when I've had a second viewing. From how Flanagan adapted it, I can easily see this being translated to a stage play a la Misery.
