Karen took her yesterday to a walk in clinic, and they said she had a cold.
Karen always takes her to the pediatrician the next day, and I'm glad she did. It turned to the flu that quick.
Kat has always been a sickly child. I hope she grows out of a lot of this.

Thank you. This is so sad. He comes from a good family. His brother worked with me at a group home and I hired him as staff in the homeless shelter. This is gonna be really really hard for him. I did not sleep last night. Wow
Prayers. Not trying to be a ghoul, but what happened? He's so young.
That is what we are trying to find out but right now they had to contact members of the family. They only said that the man was found dead. He was probably in the wrong place at the wrong time. I do not really want to get into why it may have happened. All I can say, is that he was a wonderful guy with a kind heart. His brother is my friend and is one of the best guys I know. Tall and handsome without a vain bone in his body. They looked alike actually. His dad died a while ago. I cannot imagine what his mom is going through right now. It was just the two of them.
...my youngest is the same and put himself in some dark places....just grateful he climbed out intact...I grieve for the loss of another golden soul....
This is so very bad Scott. I remember....when we worked nights...JR(his brother) would tell me tales of what he and Ashley did when they were youngsters. I remember once, Ashley had his foot caught under a log or something in Nova Scotia, and JR had to go get help because it was in the bay of fundy and the tide was coming in. This is so sad.
