Will the hospital allow any type of distance chat between them? Maybe if he....all vital signs and such are great, could be what they call "ICU Psychosis"....hopefully it wears off soon.....Tracy is at her wits end, because she can't be there....and her being there would probably center him much more quickly......I HATE THIS DAMN VIRUS!........
Sending my best wishes to you all. (((Tracy, Scott and family)))....I hadn't said anything prior to now, out of respect for Tracy-but she said it was fine....her Dad is in the hospital with double pneumonia....both CoVid tests have been negative-thank Gan!....they were done a couple of days apart to rule out a false negative......long story short, neighbors reached out to her last week to let her know they hadn't seen any activity around his house, and our calls went unanswered.....highly unusual cuz he's like the Energizer Bunny.......we went to check on him, front door was unlocked....not a normal sign....I went in, so if the worst had happened-I could spare Tracy initially.....searched house and grounds twice-no Dad.....finally figured out he had called the squad for himself early that morning due to shortness of breath.....this from a guy who NEVER goes to a doctor and at 79 can run rings around folks.....he ended up intubated for a few days, but is now off the vent....only issue we're fighting at present is he is very confused.....again, NOT baseline......Tracy asked for labs and diagnostics via suggestions from me.....we're hoping it's just the sedation taking that long to evacuate out of his system....I hadn't been around him, so I don't have that guilt to weigh me down.....it wasn't picked up from any of my exposures.....some good thoughts would certainly be welcome......
....she has spoken to him, that's all so far-and how we discovered he was "off"......Will the hospital allow any type of distance chat between them? Maybe if he
"saw" her??
!!!!!!!!!!!!Dakota is awake! She is sore and still dizzy and loopy feeling, but she is awake. So thankful.
Thank you so much, everyone!

Good vibes and prayers being sent.Need some good vibes and prayers for Ali's best friend, Dakota. She fainted on some stairs last night and hit her head. She is stable in the hospital but has not regained consciousness yet.
She is a really great girl and Ali loves her to pieces. She is pretty distraught.

Ali has not talked with her yet today. They texted last night. They are keeping her calm, need to figure out why she fainted. Her heart rate was fluctuating a lot, even while she was out, so something is causing stress.
Keep us posted. I hope they figure it out and it's something very simple.Ali has not talked with her yet today. They texted last night. They are keeping her calm, need to figure out why she fainted. Her heart rate was fluctuating a lot, even while she was out, so something is causing stress.
