Saying a prayer for your father-in-law, Scott....I hadn't said anything prior to now, out of respect for Tracy-but she said it was fine....her Dad is in the hospital with double pneumonia....both CoVid tests have been negative-thank Gan!....they were done a couple of days apart to rule out a false negative......long story short, neighbors reached out to her last week to let her know they hadn't seen any activity around his house, and our calls went unanswered.....highly unusual cuz he's like the Energizer Bunny.......we went to check on him, front door was unlocked....not a normal sign....I went in, so if the worst had happened-I could spare Tracy initially.....searched house and grounds twice-no Dad.....finally figured out he had called the squad for himself early that morning due to shortness of breath.....this from a guy who NEVER goes to a doctor and at 79 can run rings around folks.....he ended up intubated for a few days, but is now off the vent....only issue we're fighting at present is he is very confused.....again, NOT baseline......Tracy asked for labs and diagnostics via suggestions from me.....we're hoping it's just the sedation taking that long to evacuate out of his system....I hadn't been around him, so I don't have that guilt to weigh me down.....it wasn't picked up from any of my exposures.....some good thoughts would certainly be welcome......
Scott, why do you task me so?....much love Kurb!!!.....Tracy’s dad comes home tomorrow....two stents in his heart and improvement already noted...thank you all so much!!!!...Cat, hopefully they check whether or not she has a rhythm problem...love to all, worked 12 today and 12 tomorrow, will try to catch up everywhere on Thursday if I can....
....CARDIAC rhythm you cretin.....Scott, why do you task me so?

Wow! Amazing they were able to diagnose it in time. That's excellent news and hope she is on the mend quickly.Good news about Tracy's dad. More prayers for healing.
Prayers for (((Kurben))) too.
Dakota had an emergency appendectomy late Thursday afternoon. It was ready to burst. She had no pain or any of the "normal" symptoms of appendicitis, so thankful they caught it.
They are thinking that was the root of the problem. She came through surgery fine, and was going home yesterday afternoon.
Thank you again for keeping her in your thoughts!

Mixed feelings for sure. Not at all pleased with the long range forecast for Bangor but the up side is that I'm anxious to get back to doing more of my hobbies so staying inside won't be quite as much of a punishment as it would otherwise. Today's high for Phoenix area is 105F so will be spending my day indoors anyway. That's me trying to make lemonade out of the weather lemons.Yes, safe travels Marsha! I thought I saw snow in the NE soon, are you sure you want to go home yet? Looks like you all up there are getting the kind of spring we had last year.
But, Rapid City, SD (not terribly far from us) already had a bad hailstorm a few days ago. I think I would rather have snow than hail.
Snow!!!???? I hope your tail gets caught under the rocker, CAT!!!Yes, safe travels Marsha! I thought I saw snow in the NE soon, are you sure you want to go home yet? Looks like you all up there are getting the kind of spring we had last year.

I'm glad that Dakota is doing well!! Such a scary thing to happen so unexpectedly. When my nephew was an infant my sister couldn't get him to stop crying. He cried all night long and well into the next day. She couldn't figure out what was wrong. Then she saw blood in his mouth and rushed him to the emergency room. His appendix had ruptured. He was very lucky that he didn't succumb to toxic shock or an infection. Very lucky.Good news about Tracy's dad. More prayers for healing.

Hiya, good to see you... glad everything went well, rest up Kurben... if you need to do any heavy lifting just sing out and we'll send Triple O over. Thanks for the wellwishes. I'm home from the hospital now but got a bunch of painkillers with me. But the good thing is that the operation went well but i have to take it easy for two weeks. I think i can manage that. Sending further good vibes for Dalota and Tracy's mom.
