Going to buy my Halloween Candy tomorrow. Krogers have Halloween Decor and candy 50% off.
I got a 20 dollar bag of candy free. As a frequent shopper, we get little surprise freebies you only find out at the register. My freebie happened to be "one free candy." Now, if I would've bought one candy bar, it would've been a candy bar. But, I happened to have a 20 dollar bag of candy on the belt and there was no cap on the price of the candy, so I got it free! Talk about thrilled!

We got a huge pumpkin on Sunday and the kiddo did all of the scooping and carving this year. I roasted the pumpkin seeds, and her dad ate the pumpkin seeds. There are a few bits left that we have hidden from him.

Anyway, here is Jack 2019 on our porch with a big LED light inside!

Picked up 3 pumpkins yesterday. The family has been bugging the wife for her roasted spiced pumpkin seeds. And the wife and one daughter will be carving them in intricate patterns. They also made me pick up 2 battery operated pumpkin carving saws.

Whatever happened to the good old days of a knife and spoon and the simple mouth/eyes/nose design?

Really the best part of Halloween is the General Mills Monster Cereals, I don't even like much cereal but not only do they have the best mascots but the actual cereal is the sh*t, Booberry and Count Chocula is all I've been snacking on recently. Too bad Frute Brute was discontinued long ago, I would love to try that, werewolves are badass.

When I was in 8th grade (when dinosaurs wandered the Earth) we did a production of The Miracle Worker. I played Helen Keller's mom (I wanted the part of Annie Sullivan so bad that it still bugs me). There are two scenes set during meals. For rehearsals we obviously couldn't have "real" food. So we rehearsed with these cereals. Really. Mostly Frankenberry and Boo-Berry. To this day I can't eat them. And I'm a cereal lover (my Mom once said that if it hadn't been for dry cereal I wouldn't have survived) so you know they have to elicit a strong gag response.
