I'm new to the board but a long time fan of Stephen King's work (almost all of it). I started with The Stand back in 1978, then quickly progressed to all that came before and most that came after. I'm also a fan of Stephen King the person. He seems like a good person and not full of himself like so many famous writers. I live not too far from his Bangor house so think of him whenever I'm walking or driving past.

I just finished Revival, which I was impressed with. I thought the quality was excellent--the characters were complex and sympathetic and carefully drawn. The plot was intricate and believable, even the science seemed plausible (though I'm no expert). The language was also well done, with natural dialogue and vivid descriptions.

Just when I thought King had plateaued, he shows he has another hill or two to climb! I'm looking forward to future novels and short story collections.
