If directed at me... I live in Clearwater, Florida. The pictures of the beach are Clearwater Beach, about 3 or 4 miles from me. The others are of a county park near me and a couple of state parks here that are a short drive away.
EDIT: Sorry, the last picture was Cedar Key, which is a couple hours north of me, but very indicative of many places here.

It can be. In the summer months, many who live here might disagree. It gets very hot here and the sun is brutal. The natural beauty here is pretty amazing sometimes, though. There are places here that are ancient throwbacks and have been preserved. Some of the springs here have been here for many centuries and left in a mostly pristine state. Lake Okochobee and the Everglades are pretty amazing too. Tat is a few hours south of me. But, Florida is a great place to visit and spend a vacation.Wow really beautiful,I've heard Florida is amazing though.Looks like paradise

I think what really gets to people here is the humidity. It is regularly over 80% and 95F here in the summer. Add the tropical sun and it can be rough. For many who live here, summertime is our winter as we stay inside a lot then.I'm sure the heat would be no problem for me
I would love to visit South Africa. I've seen pictures of some very beautiful places there.

You guys get a little screwed on beaches Spidey, but the natural areas and springs are great. Is that Rainbow Springs in that pic?
Weeki Wachee Springs- the canoe trail. The beaches your way are awesome. When I lived in Tampa- late 60's would go to Courtney Campbell. Clearwater Beach was an extra special treat.
Weeki Wachee is beautiful. The first non beach pic I posted up there is Eagle Lake Park. It has two lakes in it actually. Beautiful trails and a nice dog park too. It's walking distance from my house.
They have built walking bridges next to the two bridge spans now. The main one is done and the one on the Pinellas side is almost finished. Once it's done, you be bale to get all the way to Rocky Point and back on a bike/walking without having to cross the road. They are also expanding the beach on the Pinellas side and the Ben T Davis beach is getting some more upgrades. My wife drive that road to and from work every day. Of all the beaches, I actually think Siesta Key is the best. The sand is literally like baby powder it's so fine.
Well, I would go anywhere I could. I am not a big expert on the area so I guess I can't say for sure. I hear the coastal areas are beautiful though.
Disney World is in Florida yes. It's actually in Kissimmee, not Orlando. It's about an hour and a half from my house. The original Disneyland is in Anaheim, CA.
Hmmm... Well I will always advise Florida. There is no other place in the US quite like it. Maine was also very beautiful, as is all of New England. But, for me, the most beautiful places in the US are in California. Especially Northern California. Lake Tahoe is an amazing place. Yosemite is beyond beautiful. Colorado is also a gorgeous place. Wyoming has some amazing parts as well. Most of the National Parks out west are pretty mind-blowingly beautiful. Any of them would be a trip well worth your time.
Of course if the city is more your thing, New York is like nowhere else on earth.
I've lived in Florida on three occasions, including for a number of formative years after being born there. I always feel at home there, and presume that living there again might feel like being on permanent vacation, what with all the palm trees and everyone wandering around dressed like me.
My wife and I have joked that when we retire, it'll just be going home from work that day and putting on a Hawaiian shirt.
