We had a cold 2009 (for South Florida) and the first night that it got cold enough to use the heater, I discovered that my heater didn't work. Of course it was New Years weekend and I couldn't get anyone out to repair it for couple of days. We were having 30 degree nights so I could have used a little heat. Anyway the company I called was the same company that had installed my AC/Heater in 2006. When the repair guy was checking things out, he discovered that when they installed the unit, they had never hooked up the heater part. I went from 2006 to 2009 without knowing I didn't have a functioning heater. ;-D

Two hours to clean up SwiftMom’s property from the storm. That was with using the snowblower :( I don’t like it when the snow is measured in feet...,,

My only trip to Kitchener (for Christmas) in 1992 had me land just before the worst snowstorm of the season with temperatures of -39. I vividly remember most of that month, especially hand shoveling six foot of snow from the both walk and Driveway.
