Quite a bit of rain lat night. I have a rain gauge that goes up to 5" and when I looked it this morning, it had overflowed.
Pretty chilly and rainy here this morning. Was glad hubby is on nights again so I didn't have to walk with the kids to school this morning. 3 more weeks and I won't ever have to walk with the kids in yucky weather ever again!
I kinda feel like doing that, this last week! Or at least sticking my head in the sand.Boy, we'd have some major flooding here if we got that much in one night!
Why? You digging a tunnel?
No backing out on the new car allowed now, signed the title on my exploder over to the dealership yesterday and took them the keys so they can come get it. Need to clean it out still! Will be doing that in the rain today. (It made me a little sad though, to sign away my exploder. I loved that car. )
Oh my goodness, I wish! Couldn't find one though so I settled for a Ford Edge.Did you get the pea green family truckster?

Hmm, you know what? I didn't notice! So probably not. It does have those super bright lights though that I always cuss at when they're pointed in my direction though. Now other people can cuss at my lights.
Does the Edge have 8 headlights?
Nope, poor Aunt Edna will not be enjoying the roof rack. I'll leave that job for Cousin Eddie. It's his turn with her, anyway.Roof rack for Aunt Edna?

Thanks! It has more miles on it than I wanted, but has been very well maintained so it shouldn't be an issue. I don't drive all that much anyway, but it sure will be nice to do things so it fits my schedule, instead of working around everyone else's! And not walking in the cold and snow to school. And if Evan decides he wants to participate in sports, now he can, because I can pick him up! And, and,...I'm pretty excited.
But seriously, I hope you enjoy it for many years and many miles. My wife has a Ford 500 that she calls The TANK because it is so good in the snow. It's getting up there in age, but she has no plans on trading it with winter approaching. LOL!
