I Am Angry Today Because . . .

Facebook -- all they care about is making money. Josh was bilked out of some money by someone on Facebook. Now we have to go to the bank tomorrow to get a new debit card.

I know - it is his fault for giving out his personal debit card number and the three numbers on the back of the card.

I worry about what will happen to him once I am gone (passed on to The Clearing, as they say).

He is so gullible and trusting.

Sorry to vent like this - it is truly frightening to me how low people will sink to con others out of a few bucks.

I tried it in May and it worked pretty well. But I found that I have to do it every night otherwise I go back to the cold packs and such. So I started again Sunday night and it's not going well this time. My feet are swollen, red and hot and hurt like hell. I'm going to give it until Friday and, if they don't get better, I'm giving up on this attempt. Might try again in future. So I'm angry at my feet and at the universe in general for having this damn thing.

I've avoided this thread simply because I have no desire to be angry at anything. I DO get angry, sometimes, but I'm slowly learning that my anger is neither expedient or reasonable.
Justifying my anger at my current situation may be warrented in a NOW, HUMAN, CORPOREAL sense, but any worldly justification prohibits my alleged reasons to do physical, even mental, damage to another in spite.
I can't even justify anger against those who despise ΙΧΘΥΣ, as He is the judge...
"What for?" should be the the first thing to enter your mind when you're angry at anyone beside yourself.

Hi Tery. I have experienced pain on a daily basis since 2001 due to two prolapsed discs at L4-L5 & L5-S1 with nerve root impingement on the right side (sciatic).
After five years of pain medication (oxycontin), anti-inflammatories and remidial therapy + psychotherapy I realised that the stomach ulcers, kidney damage (& regular stones) and the time & money spent on alleged professionals wasn't helping.
As for your feet, try taking tumeric capsules two to three times a day and soaking your feet in a combination of apple cider vinager & Epsom salts; you'll feel the difference within a week, guaranteed.

Simple solution Neesy: only allow Josh to use ANY kind of bank/credit card when you hand it to him and carefully supervise the transaction.

Sorry to hear this happened to Josh, I have read so many posts of what a super young man he is. This Spring/Summer I have had so many calls from scammers and they are so believable its scary. Neesy you have every right to be angry and if it helps, vent as much as you need to.

I remember my Mom having that problem and she suffered with it. She always put her feet up on a stool. She used to soak them in something and it really helped.
I think it was epsom salts and tepid water. What I use is lavender water, its a spray and have to lt it dry on your ft befor walking around again. It takes the burning and redness away and the swelling lessens. Lavender grows in the Okanagan everywhere. A lady sells it at the Farmers Market and she said she uses Alpine lavender essence, rosemary essence and someone else, who makes their own uses these 2 essence as well as peppermint essence. I can PM you the particulars if you want.

Thanks to all - Josh actually DID have a bad experience in the past where he allowed someone from "Microsoft" to take over his computer remotely (as you mentioned do1you9love? - this was several years back.

In regards to a bracelet - that is a good idea - I will look into getting one engraved for him.

We went to the bank where they issued him a new debit card which will stop the payments coming out.

The 3 digits on the back were first blocked out with a black Sharpie but I noticed when the card was tilted you could see the numbers still, so I scraped at it with a tool until the numbers were illegible.

The bank manager will see him this coming Monday to see if there is any way he can get at least some of his money back. We deal with CIBC and I think he has some sort of insurance in this regard to protect him from scammers.

There are so many girls on there (Facebook) showing pictures of their breasts and rear ends - what the heck? (and no these were not breastfeeding pics but obviously sexual poses).

There was even one person who was showing what looked like a sex act taking place, so that one got reported.

What the heck is the world coming to anyway?

Most of the girls that got deleted were very poor at English.

I will admit, since he was on vacation I have not been monitoring his on-line activity so I will be more diligent in the future.
