Stephen King is the author of the BOOKS. He didn't write the screen play. He, like most of us, would love to see a great movie get made. His input, however, is limited. I don't know why everyone assumes that authors have veto rights or direct control. That has rarely (if ever) happened. If the film stinks, it can never take anything away from the books. We will always have those. We have the Taleslinger to thank for that. If/when the time comes to rage, put the blame where it belongs, i.e. the Studio, Producers, and Director.
