What? I didn’t post the picture of the commando car! You would rather a mental picture of a guy wearing women’s underwear?!

He stands accused of raping a 16-year-old girl when he was 18 and some sort of questionable encounter with a young woman when both were drunk, and under the drinking age of 21, and she seems unclear as to exactly what-all happened but charges are being brought in court.
I'd still talk to him because he hasn't been convicted. In Australia, the age of consent in 16 years old, so having sex with a minor wouldn't be a problem. The rape accusation is the one that might be a problem in this country. Because they're were both drunk, and unless the girl can come up with some hard evidence, he would most probably get a good behavior bond.

I was thinking the same thing

Winter blues? Body wants to hibernate!
Hi Spidey - yes I think that might have been it :crushed:

Anyway the good news is - today is a much better day! :adoration:

Yesterday was one of those "don't accomplish much" days. I did manage to get to the bank to deposit a check, then bought a few items at the grocery store. :apple:

Thanks for replying - you always seem to understand :cheerful:

2018 is going to be an expensive year. Tiling two bathrooms later this month. Replace the swimming pool in March. Expand the driveway for more parking in June. Also in spring and summer I need to replace the rails and supports for the front entry, do some roof and gutter work, redo a large section of backyard inside the fence and plant new grass, and re-carpet one of the outside decks. I’m seriously considering running away to Tahiti and becoming a beach bum. :(

I am felling a bit down. Got news that a fellow co-worker tried to commit suicide as he told me, like a week after a mother co-worker died of a brain aneurism. I hope nothing stupid happens.
Cheer up (I know, that sounds easy, right? [but of course it's not]) I hope you can help your coworker to get some help - I'm sure there are resources out there for them

Maybe steer him in the right direction? I cannot remember if you're anywhere near Calgary, but here is another link:

Well, actually I'm not sure if the link is a good one, but it's under AnxietyCentre dot com

Thanks for the Happy Turtle! :m_adore:

... I got hit by a car crossing the street with the right-of-way yesterday, and I'm prepping for the day today in Taiwan at 5:00 a.m., and I'm still sore.

Wow - Hope you heal quickly ((((Grandpa))))

...just bummed because my back has been doing it's spasm tango the last couple of days and has kept me from going anywhere but work, so I haven't been able to hold the baby yet....ah well, they're supposed to be home tomorrow and I'll get my snuggle time then....

Healing vibes for the back - does a heating pad help? I've tried that Voltaren gel and it works well (you just need someone to help you apply it)

Feel better soon! ((((GNTLGNT))))

I hope not, but I've been having chest pains and yesterday I nearly blacked out.
It is hard to "like" this post, but basically I just click like to indicate I have read something (usually). Is there some sort of walk-in type clinic you could go to? (I don't know how your health system works in the States).
Hope you feel better soon!
