LOL...he could have used a bread tie. That's funny.
I've used bread ties, rubber bands and string. When I was in training for girls softball coaching they never told me I needed to have a supply of hair bands on hand at all times. On occasion I would look around the infield and pick a few hair bands up off the ground, stick them in my baseball bag and hand them out when asked for. Hey, I thought it was great that I occasionally had some when asked.
