I'm So Confused...

I like it here ! I can post more often now because it is a helluva lot quicker than the old one, so expect me to rack up the post counts !
For a minute I thought everyone had gone todash or something because I couldn't figure out where everyone went. 
Happy new board everyone! Like my new avatar? I figured new board, new me. The picture was taken in Maine when 91rewoT and I were there this summer for the Kon event. Of all the beautiful pictures of our trip this is my favorite.

Me too - I haven't bought very many Christmas gifs yet and it's almost November the 1st!
It's super-duper fast! The moderating side looks quite different, but it's just a matter of being able to let go (in my mind) of the old 'rules' and have the new rules be upfront in my head.
When we moved forums where I mod we suddenly had a lot of buttons that were not available on our old site. And some were just in different places. Earlier this week, I accidentally locked one of our busiest threads...and then turned off my computer. Since I often have to lock the thread while I 'm working on it (i do housecleaning) even the admin at first thought I was working on it. And it's been over a year.
My, my, my, the new Board has really brought me satisfaction this evening . . . all I need now is a cigarette and I quit smoking years ago!

I'm already getting used to this new board! And look, all smiles are still here
Anyway, I also like these quick alerts, very convenient. And I found how to change my avatar... I even posted a few messages. 
So, it is alright. We just have to get used to it.

...I'm not amused by this either...I was quite over the moon proud of attaining Uber status on the previous incarnation of the Board, now-nothing....and i'm still being moderated.... and i'm no longer a senior member.
i feel like i'm starting from scratch.
You can still be Uber... hover over your profile area, (top right) a drop-down menu will appear, go to Personal Details and fill in the space that says Status Message with whatever you'd like.
