Christmas Vacation- fun and light hearted.
Thankee, Brian. Jake's Holiday Pageants are the highlight of the season!
summer_skyI'm new here. What this all about, please?
Jake is what we call the bird perched on top of the SKMB logo. He is often decked out for various holidays and for several years now in the weeks leading up to the Christmas holidays there has been a new "Jake" every day. Last year it was a parody for Charles Dickens's "A Christmas Carol".I'm new here. What this all about, please?
You're too quick for me, Spidey! Thanks for posting the link--that saved me finding it.

That has to be my favorite Christmas movie! The frah-gee-lay line is the one that gets me.I picked Miracle on 34th Street.
How about "A Christmas Story."
"I want an official Red Ryder, carbine action, two-hundred shot range model air rifle!"
"No, you'll shoot your eye out."
Cracks me up every time.
The Jake graphics in this link are absolutely beautiful! Here is last years

Did Brian created them all??
That line cracks me up, too. “It must be Italian!”That has to be my favorite Christmas movie! The frah-gee-lay line is the one that gets me.
I'd forgotten that Brian and I had talked about that as a choice last year when tossing around ideas. Maybe we should add that as a third choice, Brian?
Lying on the ground in a cowboy outfit with the Red Ryder and broken glasses on the ground beside him.... It's got my vote! That line cracks me up, too. “It must be Italian!”
Jake wrapped in winter clothing he can’t move - like tick about to pop. Sticking his tongue on a cold pole. The leg lamp - the soft glow of electric sex gleaming in the window. The deranged Easter Bunny. Battle with that blasted stupid furnace, dadgummit! Jingre bers, jingre bers, jingre arr the way. The Ovaltine secret decoder. It... It 'twas... soap poisoning! The sinister triple-dog-dare.
Maybe that was last year and why I remember talking to him about it. In which case, never mind.I may be crazy, but I could have sworn that Brian did do something with A Christmas Story. I seem to remember Jake and Crew dressed as the boys looking through the window........
Or am I totally nuts?
