True - but it has been resurrected (sort of) over at the Ka-Tet Playground
The Playground is the continuation.
Same people, same community can be there just like here.
All they have to do make the move over.
The only difference will be that it is not the Official SKMB.
We'll maintain the same rules and friendship.
Still the same family.

My dad's 80th birthday was yesterday. I couldn't take him out because the restuarants are shut down so I got takeout from The Outback (the restaurant, not the actual outback). I ordered some volcano shrimp for an appetizer and they were very good. I'm going to get those again. Outback cheesecake had to substitute for birthday cake (it was a pretty good substitute). It was a corona modified birthday.

Sounds like a good one. Happy birthday dad!

"Don't squeeze the Charmin" - that's cute!

Glad to hear your Dad is still well enough to enjoy his birthday (my Dad had Alzheimer's at that age)
- good for you for getting the takeout for him. Happy Birthday Fl Joe's Dad :cake:

My sister wanted to come down (from Orlando) but she has asthma and we don't think it's a good idea for her to leave her house any more than absolutely necessary.
No unnecessary travel. Are you see traffic as usual? Daughter goes to work each day and says sees no change . Rds packed. Grocery no distancing.

The traffic around here is down. Many are staying home. Some of the traffic can be from people just driving around because they are bored at home. My mom does that. Before they closed the restaurants, there were barely any people in them. I felt less exposed going to a restaurant than to the grocery store. I don't want to second guess the governor and the difficult decisions he has to make during this but I don't understand our closing the state parks. I thought that was a good place for people to go to get away from boredom without being risky.

I mentioned this on The Ka-tet playground. I'm still working but there are only two of us at my business and the work I do is either in my own building or outside so I don't feel exposed or that I'm exposing anyone else. I don't have much going on right now but am trying to squeeze whatever income I can out before we get a shelter in place order. I just finished two good size jobs last week and am hoping I can get paid beore it all shuts down.

The idiotic buscompany decided that because of corona they didn't need to drive as often as before and cancelled some tours which resulted in that folk stood even closer to eachother than usual. they have been told off by the government now. Thats whats happens when you try to make a buck out of this disaster. So stupid of them.
