Happy Hump Day!
What a day we had yesterday. Scott and I went to WM and found Ali some suitable shoes. Get home and at 3:30 I notice that the tag says one size but the shoes themselves were 2 sizes bigger!
Of course. Why not?
So a fast trip back (yeah right) to exchange. An hour later (!!!) I get back in time to pick Ty up at school. He has been staying after for what they call ELO for some extra help with math.
Then an hour before Ali is supposed to be at the event center for her concert, it suddenly dawns on her that she forgot to bring her saxophone home! She is used to leaving it at the event center after their day rehearsal before a concert but the band director told them to take them back to school and don't forget to grab them on your way home.
So of course no way to contact teacher except through email. No answer at school office. 25 min before Ali is supposed to be at the event center, we call Brandon. He, as you know, is the district locksmith so has keys to everything. He meets us at the school and escorts Ali in....but everything was still unlocked so we didn't need him after all. But I have no doubt if we had just gone to the school without Brandon, everything would have been locked up tight.
We made it to the event center by 6:30. Concert started at 7 and went off with no further trouble.
I needed those 2 Monsters after all.
Need to get some groceries today and will have Sage here tonight so Brandon and Marti can attend her work Christmas party.

I just looked it up - while I do not know the actual points value (and this is in only half a cup of it) I found out you would have to walk for 51 minutes just to burn off such a small serving!I'm afraid to ask how many points are in the big tin of Moose Munch I bought from Harry and David.
It also depends on whether it was the caramel kind or the kind with chocolate!

Alison has a band concert tonight. I have to go out and find her some black shoes. I have zero ambition today. We have all been passing around a mild bug, the kind where you don't feel too terrible yet you don't want to do much of anything. Hoping fresh air will help...the problem is getting myself ready to go has to happen before I get the fresh air.

My son got his flu shot at the doctor's recently and had absolutely no reaction at all. I did not get one as apparently I am allergic to it. Just glad he suffered no ill side-effects!

Yesterday was much calmer. Even with a trip to the grocery store. I think I can safely steer clear of WM now for months.
....Tracy had me accompany me into one last weekend, and the toy aisle to boot!.....next time she tries that sh*t, she's gonna have to medicate me like they did Mr. T before a flight.....

Have both littles coming this afternoon and tomorrow afternoon. Hoping Sage can finish painting her ornament today. She has the face left to do. RJ will just be starting his painting today, so hopefully between today and tomorrow we can get them done. I will at least be able to post pics of Sage's before the board closes tomorrow but maybe not RJ's. We'll see, I hope to!

Great Thursday!!
Been a crazy day. I have to go to the vet tomorrow with my dog Uno, he can't barely walk, his leg is so sore. I thankfully had some painkillers for dogs to give
to him, and hopefully the vet give him more tomorrow so he can spend this Christmas with us and not have be in pain. I really don't want to put him to sleep 5
days before Christmas. But I think he's leg is just inflamed and it will get better by right meds. Uno is almost 10 years old and he have start to shown signs of
getting old. This may be the last Christmas we have him around us and I really want to enjoy that with both dogs.
At least I have a horse who is not sick this time. Always a worry when a pet is getting sick.
But I am ready for the Christmas. Last day of work tomorrow and my mini vacation can begin. I really going to rest, eat good Christmas food. Open gifts. Spend time with my critters and read a good book.

I hope all is well. I keep saying I'm going to find more time to come here, but I keep finding less. Life just keeps me way too busy.
I did get a break a couple of weeks ago, hubby and I went to Las Vegas for a few days. It was nice to have nothing important and pressing to do for a while.
I can't believe Christmas is so close! Where did the rest of the days go? I still need to decorate my tree, it looks funny standing there naked in the living room. And I need to do some shopping still. I have a new grandson to spoil! Yay! He was born 12-12 and is absolutely adorable! His Daddy said I could share him here..
