Hello, my friends.
Haven`t been here (again) in a while, sorry about that.
So, the battle with the bed bugs was very long, took us over 2 months to finally get rid of them and it ruined us financially, since we had to throw out almost all the furniture we had, except for a couple of bookshelves and the kitchen table and chairs. Also, tons of clothes, linen...you name it. We had to borrow money and are still not out of the debt the a-holes created for us. But at least it`s over and we can sleep normal again without fear of them biting us. Although we all have PTSD from that, as soon as something itches on our bodies, we all think it`s a new bite by them.
Bad news struck us once again last week, my brother in law died, out of the blue, no one expecting it. He was a strong man, a working man, in good health, no complaints ever...and then on Thursday afternoon he suffered a stroke, they drove him to the nearest hospital which is 100 km away and on the way there had another, spent that night on life support but in the morning had a heart-attack that killed him instantly. He was only 56 years old.
The hardest thing for me is that I couldn`t be there for his funeral, I couldn`t comfort my sister (all this happened in the old country where my mom and sisters live ), I could do nothing, not even send her some money since we are broke, like I said. It was and still is an unreal blow to all of us, like a hard slap across the face.
May he rest in peace.
My mom is still sick, she will never be healthy again and it`s basically a miracle how she is still alive ( thank you God for that ) and this only added to all her trouble.
My family here is good, thank God for that too, Suzana is doing well in school, she is the best student so far concerning the 5th grade, she is a happy and really good kid. Growing taller by the day, too, she really grew a lot this summer and fall. Milla is doing OK, we are all waiting for the Christmas break ( as I am sure you do, too ) so we can all be together and try to have a good time, even though it`s hard because of this death in the family, very hard to cope with that.

@srbo= first thankful the bed bug issue is revolved. Second- an so sorry to hear about your brother- in-law. May he be at peace and may your sister find comfort.

Re the SKMB- starting in January, the MB will be open from 8:30AM eastern on Tuesdays, until 4pm eastern On Thursday. In June of 2020 the MB will close. These are the plans thus far.

This bed bug problem is horrifying. After I stay in a hotel and have an itch, I immediately start thinking about bed bugs. You almost have to burn down your house to get rid of them.

# 2 - Be glad he is smart enough to pass the tests and hopefully find a career in the military. Even if he is only in for a few years, it will help him (the discipline and camaraderie etc.)
Of course you are worried about him getting killed, but since he is old enough to make up his own mind, I guess the best thing to do is pray for him and try to keep a positive outlook.

When I'm hungry it takes a lot more than 2 mini oranges and a banana.
This is from the old plan - it's different now but at least white meat chicken (breast) is now zero points, as are eggs and also 0%fat Greek yogurt
