Just getting ready to go to a Physiotherapy appointment - they moved and now I have to drive a bit further to get to it.
It's cold here - minus 13 but with the wind chill it feels like minus 20.

Hmmm - maybe you are right - January is usually the coldest month, so minus 13 isn't all that bad!

I just got back from the grocery store. We got a surprise snowstorm on the 30th and 31st. Started out as you will just get a little, but. Then it was an advisory, 3-5 inches, to a warning with 6-9 inches and 40+ mph winds. I think we ended up with around 8 inches but we did have the high winds. The drift behind my car was over the back window. So we were shut down on New Year's Eve. All the roads in/out of town were closed. Plus it was bitter cold. Was -27 wind chill yesterday morning.
Anyway, the cupboards were bare after all that so went out this morning. It is still very snowpacked and slick. And there is that fun game everyone plays...which lane am I in and where the heck is the turning lane? I made it.

Happy New Year my friends!! Hope all had a safe and a good Christmas and everyone's New Year started good too.
Was a calm holiday this year, I'll took it easy, was in the stable taking care of Star and walked with my dogs. Hopefully this year bring some joy
too, feel like everything has only going down for me these past days. But maybe it gets better. This year didn't start well for me at least.
