Finished a quilt I've been working on, made my granddaughter an apron, oven mitt and potholder for her to play with in her "kitchen" that I gave her for Christmas, started packing up things to ship to AZ, grocery shopping, went to the office to get my plants and some other personal food items, and a few other things here and there. Loving these 4 day weekends that enable me to get so much more done!Is it Tuesday already?

Cannot remember the name of these cute little animals but they sure smell bad at our local zoo! ummmm... that was sort of a segue - (I'm sure you smell 10000 times better than these guys!)

Good morning, Tet! My back is slowly starting to feel better. Had my kiddo's birthday party this weekend. Ten 15 year old girls in my den for 5 hours! I survived!! We did a filled cake for the first time and I was pleased with how it came out. More importantly, so was she!

Watched Zameen which is Hindi for (i think) border. It was a bollywood movie i got as a christmas gift one of my sisters in law. I liked it, just need getting used to them using another formula than Hollywood. About terrorists from a part of pakistan trying to something bad in india. When the very tough guy cop who is the hero suddenly starts singing love duets it is like suddenly Schwarzenegger or Bruce Willis suddenly started to sing and dance in an action movie. The big difference is that these guys can sing, dance and act (plus they obviously have fighter training) which i doubt willis or Scwharzenegger can. Really a different culture.

I was watching when Jim was being squeezed and drown by a python in the water and Marlin's just sitting there. And then I vaguely remember he did get involved and I thought for sure he was going to die.

It wasn't that bad, honestly! They were pretty good and the best part is parents are prompt around here. They were all gone within 5 minutes of the official end time! Hubby, dog and I hid out in the sun room and watched football!
