Happy Valentine's Day!

We are just hanging out. Tomorrow is our anniversary...18 years. Wow. We are going to go out to dinner and maybe a movie. There is nothing we really want to see at the theater, so unless there are fresh selections tomorrow, we will probably figure something else out. Maybe an escape room. I have been wanting to do that since it opened!

Kind of low key celebrations but we couldn't plan on going out of town this year, with the new grandbaby coming. I am going to lobby hard for a weekend in Deadwood for my birthday next month though.

I'm back from my cruise upon the sea!! I survived. Just!! Lets see we started saturday in a greek restaurant with fantastic food and great red wine. Then went aboard the boat where the whisky waited. Between 6 pm and 9 pm i tasted at least 9 different whiskies, scotch, irish, finnish and american. The Scotch and Irish were the best. Then i sat down with some friends i hadn't met in a year and talked for a while. In that time i think two beers somehow went down the hatch. We had a little evening meal around 10 pm and at about 1 am i went to bed. At 10 am there was a brunch where i ate copious amounts of eggs and bacon. I was HUNGRY! Then it was time for more whisky. Between 11 am and 12 i sank 7 whiskies, and 3 sherries. Then i admit i rested awhile and then it was time to say goodbye which i did by drinking two glasses of very good champagne. I managed to get off the boat and get home. I was a little tired i admit but miracolously not hungover. The trick is to blend the spirits in a correct, right??

Sounds like a good time sir. Personally I'd have been in the infirmary most of the weekend had I ingested anywhere close to that amount of alcohol....lol

Layering.

Did she start the night out really heavy looking and as the night went on, she got skinnier and skinnier? That also happens with whiskey goggles, but in this case, it was layering.
