On Sunday, I used the service from Outback where you can order on line and go park in a designated spot and they bring your order to the car. I had to create an account on their website. After I created the account, I started getting e-mails from Outback, Carraba's and Bonefish Grill. I get 3 a day from each restaurant. I don't mind getting an email or two a week but 9 per day is ridiculous. I don't understand why they feel the need to send so many promotional e-mails.

The takeout service was great but the e-mails are making me crazy. :)

Cool. I've done that. You should make use of delivery service apps like Grubhub. They will pick up your food at any location and bring it to you. Not sure how exorbitant it is but probably worth the money for someone in your predicament.

I was among a group of people today who were all staring intently at their cell phones. I was watching them for a bit and then said "Have any of you ever read Stephen King's book 'The Cell'?" A few said no, a few said yes, one mentioned the movie and how they did not like it. One woman said "I used to read Stephen King constantly but then stopped." "Why?" I asked. "Because he got old and lost his edge." she said. I screamed at her saying "No one talks about Steve that way!!!" and ran toward her in a menacing fashion with drool and spittle flying from my cow shocked face...just kidding...I said "Well, that's your loss then. He's put out some really good stuff over the last several years." And that was that. :)

wolfphoenix you are an enigma. I don't know what your comment meant, so I played around with "T O M". Was it an acronym like LOL? Why exactly was there four spaces in between each letter? Should I fill in those spaces and form a word? How did you know my dad's name was Thomas (but he was called (and spelled) Tom? Then I thought it might relate to the characters in the book, 'The Cell', from my comment. I kept thinking...what was that guy's name...he was in Con-Air...:D

What a bunch of weirdos looking at their cell phones. I HATE my cell phone. I have finally just decided to silence it. I check it a few times a day only to make sure nothing tragic has happened to my children. The Ogre will call my office phone if it does though. That's the plan.

I've just sent my boy off to get some community service hours at a homeless hospitality day shelter that I served at occasionally. I hope he enjoys it. I'd love to see him develop a mad passion for social justice and commit some time every week serving others. TN has a scholarship for 2 years free college but you have to complete 8 hours service each semester. I'm happy they offer the scholarship and think it's a marvelous incentive for service. Here's hoping it goes well.

I got to go take my dogs for their morning car ride and get myself ready for work. Y'all have a good day. Be cool and kind!

Good morning,

I'm struggling with insomnia again so I am slowly getting stuff done around the house that I have ignored the last several days. Feels good to be accomplishing something.

Miss Cookie scratched her neck open in one spot yesterday afternoon so she is bandaged again. And mad about it. But we don't know what else to do. We just want her to heal up.

Got a picture from Marti yesterday of the fairy garden. It is blooming nicely and Sage made me giggle by saying she was watching them open. ;-D

I will pop in as I get stuff done. Probably should not have sat down. ;) Have a good Thursday and a happy weekend! Big hugs and positive vibes to all! :love_heart:
