do you not live in Bangor? i always thought you did. I went to see the mr rodgers movie where all the people come out for events such as Canada day, and it was starting to get stupid. i get irritated when i see 50 year old men tying to be 20 again and looking really really stupid. plus its loud and annoying, so i went home and watched nightmare and dreams capes until like 12. i could not stop watching. ulumys last case was awesome
I live nearby but not in Bangor itself.

I hope everyone enjoyed their 4th of July. For once I had the day off. I even had the 3rd off. I went by my Uncle's house on the 3rd and drank some of his beer. It was Bud Lite (I can't stand Lite beer), but I'm not the kind of guy that will turn down free beer. My Uncle showed off some of his guns he'd gotten recently, too.

We've been getting threatened lately by an estranged family member (I use the term "family member" loosely since he married into the family and isn't blood related) that is ticked because he didn't get any of my late grandad's dogs after he passed. Stupid reason, but the guy is a nutjob anyway. We've put a restraining order on him, but we've also heightened security measures such as adding more locks to our gates and so on. But I can tell my Uncle definitely isn't taking any chances. He gave us one of his older handguns. Just in case. I've never been the biggest gun person, but having one in the house is somewhat calming. We don't have any kids over or anything like that so there's nobody that's just going to grab it and do something stupid.

Then yesterday my brother came by and we had steak and corn on the cob and more beer. We might've done a couple shots of whiskey, too. Well, maybe more than a couple. :tounge: We played some video games together for the first time in about a decade. It was a really good two days. We didn't go anywhere. Didn't shoot any fireworks. I had to be early this morning for work. but it was still a really good time.

Just another day for me. Spent more time inside than out as the heat and humidity were more than even a heat lover like me could take. Too much hassle to go into Bangor, find a spot to park and sit, and fight the traffic to get back home again. Yeah, I know, a definite sign I'm old. :)
....it was a case of atmospheric swamp ass here yesterday....humid and hot as hell.....my boys came in off pad(oil fields)and said the baseline temp for them was 112!....thank goodness their company provides them with ice and tons of bottled water.....

Bah! Humbug on fireworks! Unless they’re tastefully done, of course, and put to a timely end before 10 PM. Does this make me an old fart? Maybe. But I was planning on celebrating my 67 birthday by lighting my farts on fire. No good? Okay. I can dream, can’t I?

Oh, sorry. I must have missed that part. I need to Google Bighorn mountains. I drove across Wyoming in 2015 and saw mountains on my way to Yellowstone but don't know what they were called. Here's a pic of me stretching my legs and neck.

Cool pic Doc. I spent two week back in 2004 driving thru South Dakota, Colorado, and Wyoming. After spending a few days in Wyoming, I really had a hard time talking myself into coming back to Arkansas, felt like I belonged out there in big sky country.

Tomorrow is the quarterfinal in Soccer championship!! Sweden vs England. Go sweden go!!!!!!! The english papers have been very sure of themselfes. "We win 99 out of 100" and other arrogant crap like that. They are faves but more like 60-40 and to win they have to score and sweden is very difficult to score against.

Happy Fourth everyone! We spent it in millennium Park in Chicago, and in a minute I will try to upload pictures from my phone to see what happens. It was much too much for Christopher because he still had the last bit of chemo and a little cylinder in his pocket. Tou we spent it in millennium park in Chicago, and in a minute I will try to upload pictures from my phone to see what happens. It was much too much for Christopher because he still had the last bit of chemo and a little cylinder in his pocket. Tet, What can he eat? He spent the majority of last night throwing up and he wants me to google but he should eat. I figured I’d reach out to this community because maybe somebody knows. He needs to eat but I can’t keep anything down and he even has nausea pills. The worst part about it is he has to go in for his second round of chemo today. It seems like the cure is worse than the disease.
I hope he feels better very soon.

Hi tet! Just popping i to let you know I'm still alive and basically living for King Kon at this point. It's my busy season at work and I'm going a bit crazy so I might not have any hair left in a couple of weeks but I'll be there! I can't wait.

We had a much lower key 4th this year than usual. We usually visit a friend who lives on the Skallum reservation for the 4th but she just got married and is in the process of buying a new home and moving so she wasn't up to hosting this year. Instead, we had a few friends over to our house and played some games then watched The Princess Bride from the hot tub. It was really lovely.

We aren't taking in our friend's nephew because we couldn't get foster licensed quickly enough so he has already been placed. He's in a good home though and they are keeping his family involved, which is wonderful. Mr. Blue and I will still be going through the foster licensing process though so, if he ever needs to be moved, we can be considered.

OK, gotta get back to work. I hope you're all well. Hoping to get all caught up on what I've missed at some point...
