Mr. Blue just learned that they are closing the Jurassic Park ride at Universal Studios FOREVER after 9/3/18 so now he wants to go to LA this weekend (because we've never been and he's a Jurassic Park Superfan) but it is too late to get good airfare (we just missed a bunch of crazy cheap fare sales too) and it is a 16-17 hour drive so I don't think we're going to be able to pull it off because I don't think I have enough PTO to take extra time off of work. I feel so bad for him and wish he had never heard about it.

I'm not. It seems like our summer went so fast. It just doesn't feel like we had a summer. Spring got here so late. We had a pretty rainy (which is good) and a cooler summer. I think that means we are in for it this winter. Snow fell up in the mountains a couple days ago. It will be here soon, and I'm most definitely not ready for that.Who's ready for fall?
One thing I am looking forward to...my kids told me they are done Trick or Treating. So I am looking forward to leaving my porch light on and handing out candy. Have never done that because we were always out!
