Hi Stephen,
I was wondering if you might hear me out. I sold my first graphic novel a couple years ago, a science fiction story. It was slated for release from a good publisher but before it could be launched the company folded. A very good literary agency currently represent the book, but even with a strong literary agency behind it, many editors won’t consider touching it until the novel has been inked, colored and lettered (I’m just a writer).
I’ve decided to launch a Kickstarter to pay for the expense. Other writers like you have been really supportive of this idea. We will be filming the Kickstarter down in Comic-con San Diego if you wanted to be part of that in some form, but if you’re not going, and this is too much to ask, signed books or any other personalized merchandise would be of great help!
Thank you very much for you time.
