Behind you
=D Well, I registered for my mom and me. Those details sound great!!! We'll miss breakfast and the caravan on Sunday, because we have an early flight out Sunday, but we are coming in Wednesday afternoon, so hopefully will have some time to sight-see before hand. I have promised to do some bird-watching with her, as well. Really looking forward to the trip!!!

Sing it with me folks...

99 days til we meet at the Kon, 99 days till we meet!

Good for you! Hope you have a wonderful time! A trip to remember, and so great to share it with your mom!

Hey folks. Shirt update. Here's what we've got. I hope it's okay.
The shirts look like this on the front:
2_350x350_Front_Color-White.png
6_350x350_Front_Color-White.png

There are also tank tops available:
335_350x350_Front_Color-White.png
114_350x350_Front_Color-NA.png

And you've got a choice between a color design or a black and white one on the back.

6_350x350_Back_Color-White.png

And there are designs for kids and babies too.

It wasn't really feasible to include a design on the sleeve, so we've got this design that Konners can iron transfer onto the sleeve of their shirts if they choose. Or anywhere they want to put it, I guess. Here's what it looks like:

I got a little slap-happy and put the Kon logo and designs on some other stuff, like mugs, pillows, hats, etc.

Here's a better look at the designs on the back:

Here's the link to the store.
SKMB KING KON 2018 STORE
They ship anywhere, so no matter where you are, you can get a 2018 Kon shirt. Or mug. Or whatever.
I don't know why, but the search feature doesn't really work, so clicky on the piccies.
;-D
Enjoy.

I may overlooked it, but I don't see any shirt color choices for women?

Hey group! So while in Bangor earlier this year, I came across 2 Feet brewing, a local Bangor brewery. I had an idea for them to brew a King related brew while we're there and they said yes!! Here is the recipe so far:
I' m thinking a strong Irish/American red ale, fairly carmelly sweet with moderate bitterness and medium light smoke, dark red. Called "You'll float too".

They also asked for maybe off-the-wall King related ingredient suggestions. Pages from a novel? Which pages? King related herbs/spices?

I guess I have to play good news, bad news now...

Good news - my pension payments are finally being deposited into our joint chequing (checking) account. :greedy_dollars:

Bad news - the Nunamiut Lodge where Andy is the chef has been sold - he still has not heard if they will be keeping him on or not - so I will not know until closer to May or June if I can go to the King Kon - sorry! :indecisiveness:

Andy just told me a couple of days ago and I was quite surprised - his boss is 74 so they knew that eventually this would happen.

I am keeping my fingers crossed that the new owners choose to keep Andy on - his cooking is much appreciated up there, so I doubt they want to lose him (unless they have a very good chef waiting in the wings) - wish us luck please that he gets to keep his job :burn_joss_stick::m_award:
