...on our last leg to the lake house....if someone is still wondering what to bring, paper plates, plastic utensils or condiments would be welcome....we will decide on what to get if others know what they’re bringing...and Smeejy?...stop being nervous...we’re all nuts and it’ll take a few to get to know everybody by their real names...
Oh yeah. If I ever meet any of you, don't expect me to remember your real names. You are who you are on this board to me. Always.

I'm planning to bring two strawberry rhubarb pies and a big bowl of potato salad.

Cookies in the oven (peanut butter/chocolate chip);
Got some bags of nacho chips and salsa for a dip.
Looked for Sparkle Donkey but they do not sell it here...
And I'm getting nervous as the King Kon's drawing near.

Don't know why these butterflies are swirling in my gut
Maybe I'm afraid they'll realize that I'm a nut,
Or be disappointed that I do not speak in rhyme...
Not without 3 gin and tonics and a lot of lime.

(Neesy has my number if you need to get in touch.
Mr. S. and I can pick up extra ice and such.
And, since this is not something I thought I'd ever do,
Please forgive my case of nerves when I meet all of you.)
:a11:

Right?!

But then... this girl sends the most beautiful card to my Nana in her rest home last Christmas, and she references me by, lets say my other name. I just about fell over with shock. It sounded so strange coming from her fingers.

Nana loved that card... and so did I.

You'll be in good company. We're all nervous and excited but it's all good. We should probably have name tags with our user name and then our real names below it as I bet most of us are more familiar with the user name and wouldn't know who we are if we introduced ourselves by our real names. :wink2:

I am sooo happy to be in Bangor! Had an awesome dinner with do1you9love? and her mom. Love them both! Hubby and I both had a great evening.
.....maybe she’ll post a pic...if it’ll work here.

I think it worked! We had a great time! The food was good and company was better. Today we are off to explore Bar Harbor, ayuh!

I know! It really does mean a lot. It makes me smile and tear up a bit that everyone gets to meet and yak.
